The City of London Crime Prevention Association Women’s Network provides events at which City of London women in security and their guests have the opportunity to network and to gain information on a variety of relevant security issues.
Excellent presentations have been provided by first-rate speakers on topics such as Drug Awareness in the Workplace, Staying Safe Alone In Hotels and Personal Safety. Meetings have been diverse, with one meeting at which a former Rugby International, England and British Lions, gave a motivational presentation.
Meetings are not restricted to women only and successful meetings held on a variety of subjects are pertinent to all.
In conjunction with the City of London Police, the Corporation of London and other leading entities within the City of London, we initiated and support a celebration of International Women’s day in March each year, with proceeds being donated to charity. This event has been held annually since 2007 and the next International Women’s Day champagne breakfast will be held on Friday 12 March 2010 at the Guildhall.
